Replacement Tags

When ordering replacement tags, producers will have the option of upgrading to basic RFID ($2.00). Alternately, a bar-coded panel set (until September 2007) is available, providing the animal is designated for the beef ch ann el prior to December 31, 2007.

Note:
a) If an RFID tag component is lost, it should be replaced with an identical RFID component.
b) If the security/secondary bar-coded panel tag is lost, it can be replaced with the same panel tag, but
   without bar code. This assumes the primary ear still carries the RFID component.
c) If there is no RFID component at all, replacement is either
   i) an RFID button (panel back), or
   ii) a combo RFID panel tag (panel back).
